In our never ending quest to fill the secretary position in our organization, Donna Bordeaux brought some new and innovative ideas to the table. Her motto has always been to ask why we do what we do. Just because we did it yesterday, does not mean that is the way we should do it today. She suggested that we eliminate the secretary's position and establish a blog for our group instead. The blog would allow each week's speaker to post their own marketing information and allow for a bigger audience than just the members of our group. We can also invite community members to join in our online conversation. We also discussed attendance records. At this time, the group has no plans to enforce attendance requirements so the tracking of attendance will be discontinued until a later point in time when it will be utilized to track on-going membership opportunities.
